TRACK INFORMATION

Colorado National Speedway Track Map

In 1965, the vision that was to become Colorado National Speedway came to light in the minds of our founders, Gene and Gerda Heffley. More than 50 years later, Colorado’s Premiere NASCAR Short Track is still delivering on its promise to provide edge of your seat racing and affordable family fun every Saturday night from Spring to Fall. Our lightning fast 3/8 asphalt paved oval track is home to drivers from all over the Rocky Mountains, and the surrounding areas, and showcases more than 12 different divisions of racing during races that are held every Saturday night.

Whether you are an avid race fan or just looking for a weekend evening of fun and excitement, Colorado National Speedway will show you why short track racing is gaining in popularity around the country. Our drivers are competing for local, regional, and even national points every race in the NASCAR Advance Auto Parts Weekly Racing Series; as well as points and purse money exclusive to CNS. The competition is fierce every night, and with the track’s recently paved racing surface, the door-to-door racing action is unlike anything you can see anywhere in Colorado.

Colorado National Speedway is committed to a fan-oriented experience, and takes a Family Friendly atmosphere to the next level. Our seating features a no smoking & no alcohol “Family Section” located right at the finish line. We look to sign up kids to help us present trophies each night, and after the last race of the evening, we let everyone walk across the track and enter the hot pits to meet their favorite drivers, get autographs and selfies, and take home memories that last a lifetime.

Our commitment to affordable family fun starts with our low ticket prices and continues with our excellent food at our concessions stands. We offer all kinds of treats to our guests: from Burgers and Burritos to Funnel Cakes and Cotton Candy. You’ll even find Boneless Buffalo Wings and some of the best chicken tenders around! We take a great deal of pride in serving food that wins us compliments and repeat customers year after year. With great food, cheap drinks (for both kids and adults!), reasonable ticket prices, and free parking, Colorado National Speedway is your home for affordable family fun!

We are conveniently located just north of Denver off of I-25 at exit 232, or if you’re coming from up north, take exit 235 at Highway 52. As one of the best entertainment values found anywhere, high-speed thrills come alive at your fast, fun, and friendly NASCAR destination – Colorado National Speedway!

NASCAR / Colorado National Speedway Camera Policy

To all Colorado National Speedway Patrons & Fans:

Due to the volume of unlawful video, photo and trademark reproductions taking place with respect to participants, events and trade names recently, it has become necessary for Colorado National Speedway to strictly enforce the CNS and NASCAR rules and guidelines with respect to the usage and sale of such media.  While we certainly understand that this can be upsetting to the casual weekend photographer, it is important to understand the legal ramifications that exist. Colorado National Speedway does not intend to prohibit the use of still cameras at the race track; however, the sale of such photos is strictly prohibited without prior written approval of CNS and/or NASCAR depending upon the event.

The recent actions taken by the Speedway were necessitated by several instances of blatant abuse discovered by NASCAR and Colorado National Speedway over the course of the last several weeks. The Management of Colorado National Speedway understands the concerns that have been raised and appreciates your understanding while we manage this issue going forward.
