After a pandemic altered the 2020 season the 2021 season kicked off with the return of the racing action at CNS but more importantly the CNS family was back in the stands to witness the action.
In the Mountain States Fire Protection Super Late Models Darren Robertson and Jace Hansen led the field to the green. Three time champion Robertson led all 40 laps to take the first win of the season. Chris Eggleston got around Hansen and closed the gap on Darren, but was unable to by the 11 car.

The SUNOCO Fuels Grand American Modifieds featured the most eventful race of the night. Ed Vecchiarelli started mid pack and was flying to the front but wast sent to the back of the field at the first caution. Nathan Gasser led the first 23 laps, until he had mechanical failure and Vecchiarelli took over the lead. With 4 to go, Ron O’Neil took over the lead from Ed and captured the first win of the 2021 season.

Jereme Wall started towards the back of the field in the Elite Diesel Service Figure 8s and made it back up to the front to take the win. Former champion Justin McKeachie’s night didn’t go as planned and left the race early. The CNS faithful were treated to some amazing action through the X.
Chris Cox led every lap after starting on pole in the TBK Super Stock division. The race almost went green to checker, but there was one yellow for a spin on lap four. The largest gan in the race was from Jereme Wall who made his way from 24th to 8th.
