This Saturday, four more champions will be decided in the Matco Tools Pro Trucks, Sunoco Grand American Modifieds, Exhaust Pros of Northglenn Figure 8’s, and the PB&T Bank Super Stocks. With tight points battles and two features for each of the division, this weekend guarantees intense racing as every position matters in deciding the 2024 track champions.

Matco Tools Pro Trucks

Year in and year out, the Pro Truck division continues to produce some of the closest points battles at CNS, and 2024 is no different as the top three drivers are separated by only 9 points. 2022 Pro Truck champion, Curtis Heldenbrand has been on a tear lately; winning 4 out of the last 5 feature races in dominant fashion. With his win this past Saturday, Heldenbrand has taken over second in points and is sitting only 8 points out of first place. Current points leader, No. 16 Travis Roe, has been very consistent all season long; never finishing outside of the Top 10 and recently took over the points lead when he picked up his first win of the season on August 24th. No. 50 Tyler Wiggans came out on top with a victory during the first race of the season and much like Roe has been very consistent; not finishing outside of the top 10. If Roe or Wiggans can grab the championship, it will be their first ever at CNS. Father-son duo No. 34 Rudy Vanderwal (1 Win) & No. 43 Kody Vanderwal (1 Win) swept the special event night on May 25th and are the only other winners in the Pro Trucks this season. Every lap will matter Saturday as the championship will come down to the final checkered flag. Who will be the Pro Truck Champion?

Sunoco Grand American Modifieds

A resurgence in the Grand American Modifieds in 2024 has provided fans with exciting action every time they hit the racing surface. The points could not be any closer heading into the final night of action as two drivers will be fighting it between themselves for the 2024 track championship; one of whom is a rookie. No. 24 Nathan Gasser has been ultra consistent all season long and has yet to finish outside the top 10, and is looking to not only nab his first ever CNS track championship but also grab his first (official) win of the season. Meanwhile, No. 21, Ryan Jones is not only the leading rookie contender but is also currently second in points just 3 points behind first. Jones, a legend car graduate started off the season by picking up his first ever win in his first start. He also picked up a second win on July 6th. Other drivers to grab a win in 2024 include No. 08 Jace Hansen (2 Wins), No. 18 Ed Vecchiarelli (1 Win) & our most recent winner from September 7th; No. 17 Holly Clark (2 Wins). The Super Stocks have seen some tremendous racing all season long, and 2022 Super Stock Champion No. 49 Chris Cox has been absolutely dominant; grabbing 6 wins and building a nearly insurmountable points lead over 2022 Rookie of the Year No. 97 Kyle Stidham. Cox is currently on a hot streak: winning the last four feature races in a row dating all the way back to July 13th! No. 8 Isaac Almaswari who was runner up in the 2023 Pure Stock Points championship & No. 33 Dillyn Kellogg who also competes in the Legend Car Series. Both drivers are Bandolero Graduates, yet again proving that the bandolero division is a strong starting point for young up and coming racers. Currently Kellogg leads Almaswari by 6 points. This will be a fantastic race within a race to watch.

Exhaust Pros of Northglenn Figure 8’s

Always a fan favorite, the Figure 8’s welcomed a brand-new title sponsor with our friends over at Exhaust Pros of Northglenn in 2024. Much like previous years, the figure 8’s displayed some hair-raising X action all season long and kept the fans on the edge of their seats. No.15 Jereme Wall, much like 2023, has dominated this season: winning 5 out of 8 races contested. Despite the dominant season, Wall has had some challenges in the form of tough competition from veteran drivers including No. 3 Michael Wolfe Jr (2 Wins) along with No. 17 Harry Livermore Jr. (1 Win). If Wall can hang on for the championship it will be his 8th in the division.
