Ronnie took the Late Model win, #46 Rick Lothert won the Super Stock main, #22 Chris Eggleston won the legend feature, and #3 Harold Evans won the ERA Supermodified main event. At the end of the night the packed stands were treated to an award winning fireworks show, God bless America!

Gillett Vet Late Models
100 laps of late model action was on tap for night two of the MID-SEASON Championship and two fast young drivers #22 Chris Eggleston and #66 Darren Bucklen were on the front row. Veterans #54 Joe James Jr and #74 Dan Savage were in row two. In the first 20 laps Eggleston and Bucklen took turns leading the race. Several early race cautions brought out double-file restarts bringing the CNS crowd to their feet. As the race neared the halfway point, last year's champion #42 "Speedy" Ronnie Hults had worked his way into 3rd place from his 14th place starting position. The crowd cheered as Ronnie Hults in winners circle at CNS (Starr photo)Ronnie took over the second position. Darren Bucklen and Ronnie Hults proceeded to race door handle to door handle for at least 20 laps, putting every fan on the edge of their seat. With only 29 laps to go "Speedy" Ronnie Hults finally got by Bucklen and took the lead. #74 Dan Savage spun out in turn one which setup a 10 lap shootout to the finish. The yellow and blue #42 of Hults was the class of the field and when the checkered flew it was Hults taking the win by a comfortable margin. A great run by the yellow #77 of Dave Finley worked his way into second place. #66 Darren Bucklen took third, #22 Chris Eggleston was fourth and #48 Ed Vecchiarelli Jr. finished out the top five.

Qualifying race winners: #27 Roger Avants & #77 Dave Finley

Bob Sears, Nathan Penrod and Andrew Muse crashed after the checkered dropped.NTC Logistics Super Stocks
A massive field of Super Stocks lined up to do battle in the Super Stock division and it was current point leader #39 Jack Nugent that grabbed the early lead. As fans have come to expect in this division, cars were banging, sliding, and scraping metal lap after lap. #46 Rick Lothert found his way to the front and took a huge lead. As #13 Jason Morris and Nugent were battling for second #3 Michael Cox dove under both of them and grabbed second place! #46 Rick Lothert won the race followed by #3 Michael Cox, #13 Jason Morris, #39 Jack Nugent, and #02 Darrel Smith rounded out the top five. After the checked flag dropped #7 Ethan Penrod spun on the front straight and was t-boned extremely hard by #0 Andrew Muse. When Andrew's car came to a stop #43 car of Rob Sears had no place to go and nailed Muse from behind. Thankfully all the drivers were OK although Ethan Penrod was taken into the Ambulance for precautionary reasons.

Qualifying race winners: #19 Scott Miller, #13 Jason Morris, & #3 Michael Cox

Chris Eggleston passes Kyle Ray for the Legend win (Starr photo)RMLRA Legends
It was a Legend Car regional qualifying event which added to the anticipation as a great field of Legend cars lined up for a 25 lap main event. With just two laps complete, the #78 of Brittany Duncan spun in turn 4. Brian Bohannon in the #57 car had no place to go and ran into Duncan hard. Both drivers were OK but neither car could continue. #58 Kyle Ray was leading the race early but #6 Scotty Scott, #22 Chris Eggleston, #06 Mike Gallegos, and #15 Danny Medina were all breathing down his tail. Danny Medina made a daring 3-car pass on the inside of Eggleston, Gallegos, and Scott to grab second and the chase was on to catch Ray. Kyle Ray did everything in his power to hold off the seasoned Medina but Danny got by Ray with just four laps to go. After a yellow flag Danny Medina jumped the restart nearly clipping the CNS pace car and was penalized 2 positions. #22 Chris Eggleston was declared the winner followed by #58 Kyle Ray, #15 Danny Medina, #66 Kyle Clegg, and #06 Mike Gallegos.

Qualifying race winners: #13 Pete Dellarco & #15 Danny Medina

Harold Evans in wins again at CNS (Starr photo)ERA Supermodifieds
At the start of the ERA Supermodified main event #51 Joe Prisalac jumped out to a huge lead but that lead was short-lived as #33 Chris Sheil's motor exploded into a ball of flames bringing out the red flag. Chris was OK but there was a long delay while track workers cleaned up the mess. After the restart #3 Harold Evans assumed the lead. With only 5 laps left in the feature it was like the Twilight Zone as three fourths of the field slowed down as if there was a yellow flag, but the green was still flying! As you might imagine that caused some confusion on the track and the #54 of Matt Gilbert spun bringing out an actual yellow flag. At the checkered it was #3 Harold Evans, #51 Joe Prisilac, #02 Pickard, and #2 Richie Castor Jr.

Qualifying race winners: #02 Johnny Pickard & #2 Richie Castor Jr.

Witthar Racing Trains
Wally Wall in the #52 Train outlasted the carnage to take the crazy Witthar Trains feature event.
