Bear Lynch Claws His Way to Victory

Despite multiple yellow flags and field thinning wrecks, Bear Lynch maintains his lead over Jeff Walbaum and points leader Blackie Blackard for the win.

Pair-A-Dice Sportsman
#41 Bear Lynch maintained a slight lead over Blackie Blackard as the two drag raced through 3 laps to start the 30 lap Sportsman Main Event. Lynch took the lead and our current point leader Blackie Blackard dropped back another spot as #8 Jeff Walbaum blazed into 2nd place. Bear stuck the lead for the duration of the race for the win. Walbaum took 2nd followed by, Blackard, #84 Bruce Borchardt and #62 Jim Bob Rogers.

Snap-On Tools Pro Trucks
#1 Happy Ferree, #07 Chris Leaf, #74 Cris Muhler and #41 Bear Lynch started the 30 lap, pro truck, A Main strong. Lap 8 saw Ferree pulling along the outside of Leaf for the lead, but a midfield spin out brought on caution. Leaf took the pole for the restart with Happy on his outside, Muhler and Lynch followed behind in row two. Happy was asleep at the wheel when the green flag flew but quickly caught up with, and passed, Leaf along the back stretch. With only 5 laps to go Ferree had a commanding hold on the lead. Behind Happy, Leaf and Muhler were dueling for 2nd when Leaf unexpectedly lost his momentum and coasted off the track. Ferree took the win followed by Muhler and #27 Roger Avants.

ERA Supermodified
#2 Rich Castor Jr, the winner of the 2nd supermodified qualifier, collided with the wall in turn 1 immediately following the completion of his first lap, taking him out of the main event. #33 Chris Sheil shot to the front of the pack when green flag racing resumed. Sheil stuck the lead for the duration of the race, taking the win.

RMLRA Legends
The early laps of the 25 lap Legend A-Main were plagued with yellow flags. #66 Kyle Clegg stood out among the other contenders, leading the massive field of Legends in typical fashion. The race got cut down from 25 to 20 laps as the officials waved the green, white, checkered. Kyle Clegg took the win.
