Points leader #42 Ronnie Hults left the track before the race started. #27 Roger Avants and #31 Rick Smith had an exciting 19 lap drag race with #12 Bruce Yackey following closely behind. A pile up along the back stretch brought on a red flag. Among the cars involved were the #22 of Chris Eggleston and the #48 of Ed Vecchiarelli Jr, both drivers were towed off the track. When the race resumed, you could throw a blanket over the top 4. Hansen, Smith, Yackey and #11 Darren Robertson raced in tight formation. Robertson backed off the battle for 3rd, paving the way for Yackey. Meanwhile, Avants won the battle for the lead over Rick Smith. At the finish it was Avants followed by Smith, Yackey and Darren Robertson
With a start on the outside of row one, #8 Jeff Walbaum launched into the lead over #99 Nick Brinlee. Point leader Blackie Blackard was flawlessly navigating the field, moving into 3rd by lap 6. #62 Jim Bob Rogers had a lock on 4th place. At lap 20 Blackie, Brinlee and Jim Bob were engaged in a 3 way fight for 2nd. Blackie emerged from the scuffle victorious but he had some work to do to take the win as Walbaum had taken a comfortable five car length lead. Fortune smiled on Blackard as a spin out brought the field back together for a double file restart. When the leaders revved it up for the restart, Walbaum showed 'em he meant business zooming back into his comfortable 5 car length lead. Walbaum took the win followed by Blackie Blackard in 2nd and Nick Brinlee in 3rd.

3 laps into the 30 lap Pro Truck A Main, #7 Chris Leaf and #07 Adam Deines got locked together going along the back stretch. Leaf got upside down going into the wall of turn 3. Severe damage was inflicted on both trucks, taking the two of them out of the running but both drivers walked away just fine. When racing resumed, Eggleston in 1st elected to take the outside, Happy Ferree in 2nd was on the pole. #74 Cris Muhler had the inside of row 2 with #34 Rudy Vanderwal on his outside. Happy darted into the lead at the restart with Eggleston glued to his bumper. The crew raced clean for the remaining 25 laps and Happy Ferree rode the high line to victory followed closely by Chris Eggleston.
A pile up ensued in turn 4 at lap 5 when the leaders #15 Danny Medina & #22 Chris Eggleston messily approached lapped traffic. Severe damage to Kyle Clegg's #66 Legend took him out of the race and Eggleston was sent to the rear of the field. Green flag racing continued with Medina on the pole, #16 Timothy Faatz had the outside, #17 Terry Plummer had the inside of row two. Before the field could finish a lap, another brutal pile up in turn 4 flipped the #57 Legend of Jason Stewart who walked away from the wreck A-okay. The field lined up for another go at green flag racing, Medina still in the lead. After only 9 laps, Chris Eggleston had made his way back up the field and was hot on the tail of Medina. With only 5 laps to go, Eggleston moved on Medina's outside to drag race for the win. The two shuffled back and forth with 2 laps to go. With years of experience behind him, Medina found the faster inside line, keeping Chris at bay. At the checkered it was Danny Medina for the win, Chris Eggleston took 2nd.
