Point leader Bruce "the moose" Yackey started on the pole for the 100 lap Rocky's Autos Late Model A Main. 2nd in points, #95 Cris Muhler started in 11th and 3rd in points, #27 Roger Avants had the inside of row 2. 4th in points, speedy Ronnie Hults started in 8th. Bruce Yackey led the first 10, caution-filled laps. Roger Avants stole the lead at lap 11 as a yellow flag flew due to a spin out on the back stretch. Yackey and Avants lined it back up for a double file restart. Yackey took his lead back, but not for long! Avants was sneaking up along the outside and passed him at lap 18. Meanwhile, Hults was patiently moving up the field and took 5th. #57 wrecked at lap 25 when he ran head first into a pile up between turns 2 and 3. Avants, Paul Deines and Eggleston all got hooked up on the restart and blew past Bruce Yackey. It was a 3 car race for first! Avants was able to stick his lead with Eggleston riding close behind. Deines and Speedy Ronnie Hults were 2 car lengths back ready to pounce on the leaders and Robertson was speedily moving up the field. Another spin out brought on more caution lining up the fastest of the fastest for 50 more laps of A Main racing. Eggleston started on the outside of row 1 and ran away with the lead. Ronnie Hults moved up the field via the outside taking 2nd. Another restart saw Hults into the lead. This time he sprouted wings and took off for an 8 car length lead over the rest of the field. Yet another spin out, this time between turns 3 and 4 brought out the red flag. The race resumed with Hults and Eggleston dragging racing as they swapped 1st place back and forth. Chris Eggleston had the lead on a single file restart which sealed his fate as the winner of the 35th annual Snap-On tools, Rocky's Autos Late Model Challenge Cup! Hults finished 2nd, followed by Roger Avants and our season champion #12 Bruce Yackey.

#95 Dave Finley and #16 Shawn Trackwell wrecked right off the bat and were unable to participate in the last A Main of the season. #18 Ed Vecchiarelli had better luck, with a start in 4th place, he zoomed into a comfortable 4 car length lead. There he stayed through 11 clean laps of A Main racing, until #77 Jeffrey Hansen spun out coming through turn 3 nearly taking out a track photographer. The boys finished the event out with style, without a single caution from there out. #69 Forest Smith stuck with Vecchiarelli to the very end nearly passing him several times, but in the end Ed held it together for the win. #08 Jace Hansen won the season championship and #4 Mark Sopr was proclaimed rookie of the year.

The Pro Truck A Main started off with the most massive pile up we've had along the front stretch all season long. Nearly every driver was involved in the wreck. They were spinning out along the pavement, swerving over the dirt and smashing into each other. Only #0 Billy Harkins was damaged badly enough to leave the race. #06 Adam Hilton made a good impression at his very first (and also his last) race of the 2009 season. He started on the outside of row one and took the lead over #7 Adam Deines. The two duked it out until Deines took his lead back. Deines continued to pull away in his #7 car as #32 Mark Neff pulled past Hilton moving into 2nd. At lap 13, Neff sped along the outside of Deines gaining inches on him as the two rode fender to fender through the next 12 laps. Neff bested Deines when the two approached lapped traffic, taking the lead by half a car length. Mark Neff passed the checkered first followed by season champion Adam Deines. Congrats to our winners!

Point leader Jim Bob Rogers started on the outside of row 1 with our second in points #6 Tommy Roe on the inside of row 2. 3rd in points, #8 Jeffrey Walbaum failed pre-race tech and was sent to the rear of the field before the race even began. Jim Bob and Roe made short work of #84 Bruce Borchardt, taking 1st and 2nd respectively after a single lap. The two had a race of their own for 10 laps, with Jim Bob coming out on top. Jim Bob had the lead but 6 was less than a single car length behind. The two approached lapped traffic by lap 18 without flinching and manuevered through with ease. With only 10 laps to go, Roe wasn't giving Jim Bob an inch to add to his lead. Blackey Blackard made things interesting when joined the battle for the lead in his #46 Sportsman. The field got hit with a red flag when Tommy Roe, #32 Bear Lynch and #47 Brian Inglam got together along the back stretch. Tommy Roe was badly damaged and had to be towed off the track. Another wreck insued taking out #26 Dale Reeder. Things started up with only a few laps to go. Jim Bob Rogers held onto his lead for the win followed by Blackey Blackard.
