These last two races will be the most intense of the season! Everything is riding on these events so expect the racing to be tighter, faster and the most suspenseful it's been all year long!

The Snap-on Tools Challenge Cup XXXV

09-19-2009 (SS F8 LEG MC SM BUS)

TNT_3Get ready for an intimidating field of Super Stocks. The insane Figure Eighters will be here for some close calls in the X. Legend drivers Wayne Barlock and Kyle Clegg will duke it out for second in points, so you won't want to miss our last Legend race of the season. The modified coupes will be here for some open wheel racing and the lightning fast Super Modified will bring a serious competition to the track as well. And of course, it just wouldn't be the same without those ridiculous buses to finish the evening off.

RED BULL STUNT TEAM
The Red Bull motorcycle stunt team will be performing at CNS during intermission at this weekends race (9-19-2009). You wont want to miss this!

09-26-2009 2009 (LM 100 LAPS PT SP GAM TR)
It'll be a sad farewell on Saturday, September 29th but don't go getting all teary eyed on us... we've still got racing to do! It's the Final Late Model bout of the 2009 season. Cris Muhler will bring his "A" game to defend his crown against Bruce "the moose" Yackey in a 100 lap Late Model Main event. Roger Avants, "speedy" Ronnie Hults and Rick Smith will be on hand to give Muhler and the Moose a run for their money.

The Pro Trucks will hit the track as well, along with the Sportsman and the Grand American Modified. The trains will cap off the 2009 season at Colorado National Speedway.

The final two special events at CNS will be only $15 for adults, $6 for kids and as always, little ones get in free with a free hot dog!

Firework show after the races on Saturday night!

CNS PACE CAR GIVEAWAY
The Positive Spin, Thunder Kids Official CNS Pace Car drawing giveaway will be held September 26th on the final night of the CNS season.

Dacono, CO (September 11, 2009) Forecasts for unseasonable cold and wet weather have forced Colorado National Speedway officials to postpone tomorrows schedule Colorado Challenge Cup.

The Speedway will move the events scheduled for September 12, 2009 to Saturday September 26, 2009. The Challenge Cup part II scheduled for Saturday September 19 will take place as scheduled. The change in schedule will force the cancelation of the “Outlaw Cup” that had been originally scheduled for the 26th of September, but at this time the practice session and car show scheduled for Friday September 25 will take place as schedule.

eggleston-pro-truckSunday night concluded the Pepsi Labor Day weekend Shoot Out at Colorado National Speedway. Clear skies ushered in an unforgettable night of racing. The Legends brought 4 different divisions to race in 2 separate features. The Pros and Masters matched up against each other and the Semi Pros raced along side the Young Lions (Legends drivers 16 and under). The winners of tonightís Legend features would take a spot in the Asphalt Nationals in Lanier, GA.

The Super Modifieds rounded up the evening's events, followed by the Sportsman. The Pro Trucks came out to headline the program for their second to last feature of the season. Both Mark Neff and Billy Harkins were riding on the heels of point leader Adam Deines. All we could do was wait (on the edge of our seats) to see what would happen.

darren-crocker-mainThe 2009 season at Colorado National Speedway is winding down to a close. Only 4 nights of racing remain, making these last few bouts crucial to the point leaders in every division. After missing more than 20% of this year’s main events thanks to weather related cancellations, every driver at Colorado National Speedway is eager to make each and every one of these last few races count. The situation couldn’t be better for action-hungry NASCAR race fans. As the season nears closer to its end, the competition becomes more unpredictable at every turn around the oval.
