CNS Food Policy for 2012

Colorado National Speedway’s numerous concession stands offer a wide variety of food and beverages. Curbing your appetite and thirst at CNS is both delicious and affordable! From our amazing smothered burritos, tasty personal pizzas to gourmet burgers on homemade buns! We also offer ice-cold beverages for the entire family including thirst quenching bottled water, 32 oz. ice tea & lemonade and COKE products to ice-cold beer and mixed drinks.

You may bring the following into the CNS facility;

Non Alcoholic Beverages in SEALED factory containers (NO GLASS)
Snacks
Soft-sided bag or cooler 16” x 16” x 8” or smaller

Items you MAY NOT bring into the CNS facility;

Alcohol
Glass containers
Hard sided or larger than 16” x 16” x 8” coolers

New faces & cars at March 17th practice

It was great seeing some new faces and new race cars at the track last Saturday. Here are just a few of the new cars we will see racing at CNS this season.

Practice Information for March 24th & 31st 2012

Get ready for more hot laps Saturday March 24th & Saturday March 31st at Colorado National Speedway. These last two practice sessions will go from 11:00AM to 4:30PM which means that the pit gates will open at 11:00AM and the track will go "hot" at 11:30AM. Practice will end at 4:30PM.

Entrance on the pit side will be $20 per person and there will be concessions available pit side. Entrance to the grandstands is free but you should be aware there will be no concessions available on the grandstand side.

Oskar Blues Supports Local Colorado Racing Team

Oskar Blues Brewery has teamed up with the Colorado National Speedway offering 2 customers an opportunity to ride along in the Dale’s Pale Ale 2 seater pace car each of the 4 Oskar Blues race nights. June 30^th will feature OB home grown food and fireworks and our beer will be available all season long at the track. Along with racing weekends the cars will be making on and off-premise promotional appearances around Colorado.

The Tires are in

The new tires are in at Colorado National Speedway. Tire sales start today from 3PM to 6PM and Johnny Witthar will be there to take your orders.

You can buy race tires at CNS every Tuesday and Thursday from 3 to 6PM.

Super Stock 602 Crate Engine Clarification

The 602 crate engine for the Super Stock division is a option, not a mandatory rule addition for the 2012 season. There may have been some confusion regarding the new rule so we wanted to take this moment to make sure all the Super Stock competitors were aware that the 602 crate engine is an optional engine package and not a mandatory engine package. We hope this has helped clear up any miscommunication.

Going forward, we have no plans to make this engine the sole, mandatory option.
