(Dacono CO 05-05-2012) Lightning Ric Lothert returned to CNS to dominate the Super Stock main event and prove once again his yellow and green #46 is the car to beat any time it rolls off the trailer. And lightning struck again in the late model feature but this time by Mother Nature forcing the race night to be shortened by the CNS Track Officials for the safety of the loyal CNS patrons.

Starting on May 05, 2012 All Divisions will have their tires marked by CNS tech prior to qualifying. Teams must race the same tires as they qualified on in their main event. Teams may race on a different tires in their DASH races.

We hope this will help teams with tire cost and help keep the competion on a level playing field.

(Dacono, CO - 04-28-2012) CNS late model veterans Rick Smith and Bruce Yackey put on an amazing display of racing as they crossed the finish line side by side in the Gillett Vet Late Model main event at Colorado National Speedway. When the dust settled it was Smith taking the hard fought win over Yackey in one of the more memorable events on the 3/8ths paved CNS oval.

Get ready for an a-MAY-zing month of racing at Colorado National Speedway. The action heats up early and then the month finishes off with a special 2-Day Memorial Day event featuring a 40 grand American Modified race as well as a 100 lap Late Model extravaganza! May also signifies when we return to ourt normal start time for all the races for the rest of the summer, the National Anthem and Racing will start at 6PM.

VAN's Equipment Night at CNS - May 19th
If you need to rent a Bull Dozer, Backhoe, or Excavator call Van's Euipment Rental and if you need to get your speed "fix" come to CNS on May 19th for Van's Equipment Rental Night at CNS. On this night we run the Late Models, the SUNOCO Grand American Modifieds, the CARC Mod Coupes, and the Figure 8s. Races Start at 6PM

That's right folks this is night one of out CNS Memorial Day Blow Out featuring the Pair A Dice Interior Finishes Sportsman Cars, the Snap-On Tools Pro Trucks, the NTC Logistic Super Stocks, the grand pounding ERA Supermodifieds, and the Witthar Racing KRAZY TRAINS!! Races Start at 6PM

DAY TWO
Famous Dave's Barbecue 100 - SPECIAL EVENT - May 27th
There just isn't anything better on Memorial Day that juicy barbecued meats, well other than smoke belching NASCAR action that is. But why settle for one when you can have BOTH! On the special Sunday Night Memorial Day Blow Out event we are going to rock the house with a 100 Lap Gillett Vet Late Model Main Event, a 40 Lap Sunoco Grand American Modifed Main Event!! We will also have the CARC Mod Coupes, the RMLRA Legend Cars, and the A Comfort Shack Figure 8s. . Races Start at 6PM
