Sunday, Sunday, Sunday!! That was the day for the Monster Truck extravaganza at Colorado National Speedway and it wasn't just any Sunday but it was also Father's Day which made the event that much more special. It was an afternoon of non-stop carnage and destruction as world class monster trucks thrilled the packed CNS stands as well as the maniacal Demo X cars that had fans on the edge of their seats the moment the green flag dropped banging, crashing, and scrambling to the finish. CNS fans were also treated to a motorcycle stunt team as well as the Tuff Trucks. Yet clearly the stars of the show were the ear drum busting Monster Trucks that destroyed everything in their path. The Monster Trucks had the CNS faithful cheering in unison by flying over and crushing perfectly good automobiles that are now even thinner than grandmas flapjacks. It was clear that these Monster Truck drivers are not only skilled but completely fearless as they didn't shy away from any obstacle in their way.

The CNS staff would like to thank all the drivers in all the various divisions for putting on a great show but most importantly the fans which turned out in huge numbers making it clear that this type of event should become a yearly tradition.

The weather forecast for May 14th is cold, windy, and 60% chance of rain by 5PM therefore the CNS staff has cancelled the races for the night.

Next Saturday May 21 is SUNOCO night  at CNS we will feature the Late Models, Pro Trucks, Super Stocks,  Figure 8's and Supermodieds!!

ATTENTION CNS FANS: CNS will no longer allow outside food and beverage items to be brought into the main grandstand side, with the exception of clear plastic factory sealed water bottles in a soft-sided bag or cooler 16"x 16"x 8" or smaller. CNS has put off this decision for several years and remained one of the only professional sports venues in Denver that continued to allow outside food.  Unfortunately the rising operational costs have forced CNS to implement this new policy for 2011.  However, CNS will be offering many new and exciting food specials throughout the year. These specials will include outside food sponsors such as Chick-Fil-A, Quaker Steak & Lube and Famous Dave’s BBQ which will provide specialty items to be featured in our Diner on various nights at a discounted price.  We have also added to our standard weekly menu options and will announce future specials on the website and signage at the main gate.

A new addition to our Beer Gardens will be the installation of satellite television and flat screen TV’s.  Professional sports programming and NASCAR events will be featured throughout the season.

Diner Burrito will now be serving Beer (Corona & Miller products) in addition to an expanded Mexican food menu.
