Rocky's Autos Late Models
As the clouds loomed overhead at Colorado National Speedway, the fans packed the stands hoping that Mother Nature would finally take a break from her newfound Saturday rain shower tradition. It would appear that hoping wasn’t enough. For just as Cris Muhler took the lead over Ronnie Hults after a double file restart half way through the first Rocky's Autos Late Model A Main, the rain started to pour, ending the event. Thus, Cris Muhler took his 5th win of the season, holding on to his point lead for another night.

Week after week, we at Colorado National Speedway do our absolute best to put on an amazing show. Between race officials, track operators, and media representatives, HUNDREDS of hours go into preparing the show each week. With this in mind, we hope you understand that we share your aggravation at every rained out event.
Our weather policy is to make sure that you get your money's worth. We put on at least half of our nightly scheduled events or your ticket can be redeemed for a future event. That is a guarantee we stand by and have made good on several times this season already.
This is the first time this season that we were able to put on more than 50% of the event (8 of our 12 scheduled events) before the show was called a rain out. Tickets from tonight's event cannot be redeemed for admission on a future date.
We understand that there are some of you who hadn't arrived early enough to see all 8 events. To those of you who fall into this category, we want to take this opportunity to remind you that the gates open every Saturday at 3pm and qualifiers start at 4:30pm. You are welcome to arrive as late or as early as is convenient for you, however in the event of a rain out, we cannot issue rainchecks based on the time you chose to arrive.
We'll be working hard this week (as always) to make sure that next week's show will be another great one here at Colorado National Speedway. See you then!
Come on out to Rocky's Autos this Saturday July 25th from 8AM to noon for a race car show and a chance to meet the drivers that compete at Colorado National Speedway every Saturday night.
Rocky's Auto is located at 63rd and Federal.
You will see race cars from each of the divisions that compete at CNS, there should be around 30 or so teams at the show and drivers will be giving away hero cards and autographs.
Pepsi will be at the event giving away free Pepsi Products and Rocky’s will provide hot dogs! Rocky’s will be doing the prize wheel all morning with giveaways and that night the Rockys crew will race the "FAB 4" cars at CNS during intermission of the Coors Light Late Model Twin 40's event.

Bruce "The Moose" Yackey shows his stuff with another exciting win at Colorado National Speedway.
#1 Jay Fields had the pole with #54 Joe James Jr on the outside. On the inside of row two was #4 Cris Muhler with #11 Darren Robertson on the outside. #66 Darren Bucklen had the inside of row three.
At lap 2 a pile up involving many drivers including CNS’ own Bruce Yackey and Chris Muhler led to a red flag. On the restart, another driver spun out and officials counted down the laps as they circled the oval in caution.
