Colorado National Speedway is your fast, fun and family-friendly speedway guaranteed to offer every fan a night of pure adrenaline and heart pounding action. This NASCAR  3/8 mile paved oval, starting its 45th years of intense racing action is sure to please everyone with Saturday Short Track racing at it’s finest!

As the state’s only home for the NASCAR  HomeTrack Whelen All-American Series, every night is packed full of entertainment with something for every race fan of every age. Colorado National Speedway, known as one of the premier NASCAR facilities in the country, will continue to impress and entertain you throughout the entire season!


The 2009 green flag will drop for the Blue Sky/ACV Towing Ice Breaker on April 4th and will conclude when the last checkered flag flies for the 2009 Outlaw Cup on September 26, 2009.

The drama builds all season long as the finest drivers from all corners of Colorado  and beyond will travel to the speedway in hopes of earning points towards the coveted 2009 Track Championship. The “Big Bad Boys of CNS”- the premier Late Model Division will keep you on the edge of your seats, as well as the ProTrucks, Grand American Modifieds, Sportsman, Super Stocks, Figure 8s, Modified Coupes, United States Late Model Association (USLMA), Legends and Midgets. Also joining us with some of the fastest laps around the 3/8 oval will be the 600 Mini Sprints, Super Modifieds, ….and of course the wild and crazy  trains and school buses always offer additional entertainment.

In addition to the intense NASCAR racing action every Saturday night, fans will enjoy 5 incredible heart thumping special event races in 2009.  CNS will host a special two day 4th of July Extravaganza on Friday, July 3rd and Saturday, July 4th for the Dodge Challenger Mid-Season Championship with fans enjoying an incredible fireworks show each nights. In addition, the Camping World West Tour Series will join us again this year on Saturday, August 15, 2009 for the Toyota/Napa “150” with drivers coming from all over the western United States to compete.  Colorado National Speedway Champions will be crowned on two Snap-On Tools Challenge Cup XXXV nights - September 12th and 19th, 2009.

Colorado National Speedway is committed to making every race fans feel special each and every night! Families can enjoy a special non-alcohol section located in the main grandstand near the start/finish.  In addition, fans are welcome to sign up to be a trophy presenter or win a ride in our special Coors Light Two-Seater Late Model. Fans are also invited to head to the pit area following the last race to meet you favorite drivers for an autograph!

Excellent food and drink items can be found at the numerous concession stands throughout the track, and a variety of fun merchandise is available from the Colorado National Speedway Pit Stop Merchandise Booth.  

Colorado National Speedway is a short and easy drive from anywhere along the Front Range.  CNS is conveniently located only ten minutes north of 120th Avenue on I-25 at the Erie/Dacono exit 232 or exit 235 from the north.
