Welcome to Colorado National Speedway
Effective immediately all Late Model division participants that choose to utilize ASA legal cars for competition at Colorado National Speedway will be required to weigh a minimum of 2800 pounds.
All other stipulations and rules contained in the 2010 CNS rule book remain unchanged. In addition, suspension rules on page 3 of the general rules section must be adhered to for all participants at CNS. CNS management retains the right to further modify the rules as necessary.

Following up the disaterous Late Model pile up which totalled half the field on July 10th, the Late Models brought out an impressive 14 cars. They raced in style this week with action so intense you could throw a blanket over the top 5. Savage, Yackey and Hults all spent some time in the lead but it was NASCAR up-and-comer Chris Eggleston who stuck it for the win!
So you're feeling a bit sweaty, a tad warm, and you've got the shakes but you don't quite know what's wrong. Don't worry it's not swine flu, you've just got NASCAR FEVER! Simply take a heaping dose of Colorado National Speedway every Saturday night at 6PM as symptoms persist. Have a look at what's on tap for the next few weeks....
THIS SATURDAY July 31st - G&R Hot Rod Night at the Races
(LM, SP, PT, F8, LEG)
Even we didn't think it was possible until now… July 31st we've got 5, count 'em 5 of our hottest divisions racing BACK to BACK! G&R Hot Rod is bringing you the most hardcore night of the season with Late Models, Sportsman, Pro Trucks, Figure 8s and Legends. It's Stock Car night at CNS, and our drivers are going to light the track on fire! Bruce Yackey, Ronnie Hults, Happy Ferree, Roger Avants, Blackie Blackard, Chris Eggleston, Jim Bob Rogers and plenty more will be rarin' to go for the craziest line up of the 2010 season. This is going to be one race you don't wanna miss.

Aug 14th - Toyota Napa 150 (K&N Pro Series West, SS, F8, SM) Special event
Aug 21st - Ride 911 (LM, SP, PT, GAM, TR)
Aug 28th - Coors Light Night at the Races (LM, PT, SS, F8, SM) Special event
Despite multiple yellow flags and field thinning wrecks, Bear Lynch maintains his lead over Jeff Walbaum and points leader Blackie Blackard for the win.
Pair-A-Dice Sportsman
#41 Bear Lynch maintained a slight lead over Blackie Blackard as the two drag raced through 3 laps to start the 30 lap Sportsman Main Event. Lynch took the lead and our current point leader Blackie Blackard dropped back another spot as #8 Jeff Walbaum blazed into 2nd place. Bear stuck the lead for the duration of the race for the win. Walbaum took 2nd followed by, Blackard, #84 Bruce Borchardt and #62 Jim Bob Rogers.
Only 10 cars avoid the most disastrous pile up in CNS history to finish the Late Model Midseason Championship. Ronnie Hults rides the outside line once again to victory.
Speedy's Autos Late Models
#74 Dan Savage and #31 Rick Smith blew the doors off the rest of the field, competing in a race all there own as they moved to the front of pack and dueled for the lead. At lap 24 of the 100 lapper, the leaders approached lapped traffic and Savage controlled a comfortable lead.
Those who purchased admission for the July 4th event can use their ticket stubs for free admission to our Independence Day Encore this Saturday, July 10th.

This Saturday July 10th is our Independence Day Encore!!! Get down to CNS this Saturday for fireworks, burgers, brats, cold drinks, good people and of course night 2 of our NASCAR Midseason Championship! You simply can't see a show like this anywhere else. We're bringing out the Speedy's Autos Late Models for a 100 lap Main event! Also raring to go are the Pair-A-Dice Sportsman, Sunoco Grand American Modified, and the Two Doors Down Figure 8s. The glorious smell of burnt rubber, gasoline and fireworks awaits you for our Independence Day Encore this Saturday July 10th at Colorado National Speedway!

Among the talent at Colorado National Speedway, Adam Deines, Blackie Blackard, Chris Leaf and Happy Ferree all brought their A Game for the first night of the Independence Day marathon. But Jim Bob Rogers and Cris Muhler just couldn't be taken down.
Pair-A-Dice Sportsman
#62 Jim Bob Rogers started the 30 lap Sportsman A Main on the pole. #99 Nick Brinlee had the outside of row 1. In row 2 #39 Scott Estes had the inside with #38 Frankie Estes on his outside. At lap 10 our point leader #64 Blackie Blackard had taken 2nd place behind Jim Bob, #6 Tommy Roe had 3rd. Try as Blackie might, Jim Bob had a solid hold on his lead and rode it the remaining 20 laps to victory. Blackard took 2nd followed by Roe and #8 Jeff Walbaum.
